John Chiodo is a contractor “built from the ground up”.
The Chiodo family came to Canada from Calabria Italy in the early 1960’s and began making their way through life in Toronto. By the early 1970’s John’s father and uncles quickly began their carreer’s as carpenters and made a name for themselves framing houses for some of Toronto’s largest home builders. Greenpark, Starlane, Century Grove just to name a few.
In the mid-1990’s John Chiodo, at age 14, began his construction career. John learned carpentry from his father and uncle who had many years of experience behind them.
During his school years John would spend all his summers and weekends working hard as a carpenter framing & back-framing houses learning the business from the ground up. And at age 18, John decided to continue his carpentry career as he felt this was his true passion “Becoming a Contractor & Home Builder in Toronto”.
In 2003, John started his first contracting company as he decided it was time to use his talents and knowledge to assist homeowners in need of a solid, honest contractor. Since then, we’ve renovated hundreds of homes in the GTA and are very well-versed in contracting projects.
Now at the age 40, John has been married for 14 years and has 2 kids has developed a strong name in the business for honesty, quality, and service. John has recently completed a life-long dream of building his family a custom home in Caledon which he says “it was the toughest challenge of my career. But I did it”
Today, John continues to work hard and provide his clients great work….. “Its in my blood to be a contractor / builder and I enjoy what I do”. It’s also in my last name “Chiodo” meaning “nail” in Italian.
